Internet selling - networking etc...

What really irks me to no end is, the incredible number of internet shysters out there, that make a living - charging people to sell their, oftentimes oversold, do nothing - products - for them!    What irks me even more is; that even with a lifetime of sales experience, I fell for it too!!!    Adding insult to injury - I fell for it over and over again; Because I was intimidated with trying to build this site - and bought the hype eagerly - trying to make life easier for myself.   Two months ago when I started this, had no idea what 'html' or any techie abbreviation was! My head was swimming with confusion and I feared - I'd never be able to learn what I needed too - without going to take a course (that I couldn't afford) on how to build a site etc... It may be no excuse, but it's what I did and it cost me much more than I ever imagined.

The BIGGEST mistake I made was - NOT listening to MY INSTINCTS.. that were warning me, loud and clear, NOT to do it. I didn't believe in my SELF!   Imagine that!   Instead of believing in myself, I gave some shyster - I didn't know - from the net - more credit than I gave my SELF.     Big Thump on the head - to me!!!

I've always lived my professional life - believing; that if a company has enough belief in their product - they certainly will NOT ask their salespeople - to pay the company to sell their products!   Reputable firms, at the very least, pay their salespeople a base salary. And that's as it should be. As for internet marketing, I do understand that - that, would be a foolish thing to do.  After all, they have no idea who will or won't perform.   Therefore, offering a commission and support etc.. is pretty much their best bet. But too many that offer affiliate programs etc... offer commissions that are ridiculously LOW!!   Some as low as 3% for products that are under $100.00!!   Bear in mind that 3% for a big ticket item in the 10 to 100 of thousand dollars is a very good commission - but NOT for the typical internet product.

One final mention. In my opinion, any company, especially networking ones - that tell you - you have to invest money to run a business - should be avoided - big time!!   Remember, your time - IS money!    Add to that, I've never met one person who's made money in network marketing. Enough said??

This morning I opened my gmail and there were 66 new messages. And I know I'll probably get at least another 66 by the end of the day. All because I made the MISTAKE of paying 'only' $20.00 (discount special just for me price) for a 'lifetime membership'... that guaranteed to get my message - out there. All I had to do was agree to accept emails from - people, companies, etc... - interested in getting my emails!

Well, here's a sample of what has been filling my mailbox - all day long, ever since!!. And I haven't even sent out one ad yet!! And trust me I won't!!! Trust me - when I say.... every single one of these - offers nothing but - lessons - balh, blah, blah... that will cost you money... and will then offer an upgrade... for their 'insider special' or some other kind of nonsense filled with empty promises... that their program is the one that'll make you rich.

It's Getting Easier

Well it's taking time to set this page up the way I envision. But whoopie... I'm finally getting some help from a web builder who knows what she's doing! Yipee!!! She's going to organize everything for me starting July 2nd., - so my site will be much easier to surf and do all the stuff that's too technical for me. In the meantime, I've been building my good & bad and don't waste your time list. I DID join a super site this afternoon, where you don't have to pay a penny - ever.. and make money from big retailers...etc... and as soon as I figure out the directions, I'll post it for your perusal. I think it's going to be a winner.

The Good & Bad In Internet Marketing

Are you considering getting into Internet Marketing? If so, I'd like to save you from wasting your time and money! Scams I've fallen victim to, that cost me well over $700.00 I could ill afford are going to be Posted on the Scams non scam page.   And sites that actually DO mean what they say and cost either nothing or very little - will be 'Featured'!

It's June 18th., and I spent this week on nothing other than checking out "FREE MAKE MONEY " emails and ads I ran across. First and foremost - 99% - offered nothing but their own - how to ebooks and the like; that in turn tried to lure me into signing up into becoming a gold, silver, platinum lifetime member for a fee. Some fees were not bad.. as little as $10.00 bucks (very rare but there).   Others went up to $100.00 a month and more... to use their guaranteed - or your money back system.   I figure, if their offer is so good, why not let me use the system - and take my fee out of all the money I'm going to make from it, right?   In any event - I only downloaded and joined the really free sites and downloaded the really free downloads.   I'll be putting those up as soon as I can organize them all (got so much of the stuff I haven't even had time to read any of it yet!!).
I am going to do my best to get the really bad ones posted today. One especially - where I was stupid enough to give them my phone number - and they started harassing me to buy their - $900.00   to $10,000.00 program! When I told them to take me off their caller list - they refused and told me they'd be calling back every day!
I in turn told them - I'd do my best to make them famous on the net! And I will. I was unable to copy their web page or logo - but will find a way to - make you recognize them at first glance; and I hope you pass the warning to stay away from these guys on to your friends.
